SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Regulated land-disturbing activities; submission and approval of control plan. Permits the annual filing by certain utilities of erosion and sediment control plans with the Virginia Soil and Water Conservation Board. This bill extends to natural gas and natural gas pipeline companies the same treatment that railroads, and electric and telephone utilities are afforded. Under the bill, if the erosion and sediment control plan filed by the utility is not acted upon by the Board within 60 days, the plan's specifications are deemed to be approved.
