SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Training of correctional officers. Requires that the training for persons employed as jailers or custodial officers by local criminal justice agencies and for correctional officers employed by the Department of Corrections on the use of Oleoresin Capsieum (OC) spray or pepper spray be limited to an exposure incurred when being in a physical area where ample amounts of OC particulates remain airborne.
