SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Local taxation of real and tangible personal property of public service corporations. Requires aircraft owned by public service corporations to be taxed at the same rate as other aircraft in the locality. Currently, such aircraft are taxed at the real property tax rate.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Local taxation of real and tangible personal property of public service corporations. Adds aircraft in with automobiles and trucks which are owned by public service corporations and which are to be taxed at the same rate or rates as other aircraft, automobiles and trucks in a locality.
