SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:
Income tax; check-offs for State Forests Systems Fund and Uninsured Medical Catastrophe Fund. Creates the State Forests System Fund and allows taxpayers receiving a tax refund to designate all or part of it as a contribution to such fund for the development and implementation of conservation and education initiatives in the state forests system. The measure also creates the uninsured Medical Catastrophe Fund and allows taxpayers to contribute all or part of their tax refunds to the Fund, to be used to provide a source of payment for medical treatment of uninsured medical catastrophes.
