SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Statewide Workforce Training Council. Increases the membership of the Statewide Workforce Training Council to 24 by adding the Superintendent of Public Instruction and deletes the reference to public education within “those specific and existing workforce needs in sectors of the economy which have high potential for sustained demand or growth” to be identified by the Council with the assistance of regional workforce centers. There is also a technical amendment.
