SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Regional juvenile detention commissions. Allows the Crater Youth Care Commission, which serves the Sixth and Eleventh Judicial Districts, to borrow funds and issue revenue bonds to cover the local share of the cost of constructing new or expanded juvenile detention facilities. This is emergency legislation.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Regional juvenile detention commissions. Allows the Crater Youth Care Commission, which serves the Sixth and Eleventh Judicial Districts, to borrow funds and issue revenue bonds as provided under § 16.1-318. This is emergency legislation.
