SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Charter; Town of Christiansburg. Clarifies that the mayor or any member of the town council shall not be eligible for any remunerative office with the town, regardless of the appointing entity, except that a member of the council appointed to a board or commission may be compensated as a member of such.
