SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:
Sales and use tax; exemptions. Extends the expiration date for sales and use tax exemptions for the Cave Spring Softball League, the Lewis-Gale Foundation and the Tranquillity Cancer Foundation to June 30, 2000. The measure also makes the sales and use tax exemption for Williamsburg Radiation Therapy Services effective retroactive to July 1, 1995.
SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Sales and use tax; exemptions. Extends the expiration date for sales and use tax exemptions for the Cave Spring Softball League, the Lewis-Gale Foundation and the Tranquillity Cancer Foundation. The measure also makes a sales and use tax exemption for cancer screening organizations retroactive to July 1, 1995.
