SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Prisons; Correctional Enterprises. Makes it permissive rather than mandatory for state agencies to purchase goods through Virginia Correctional Enterprises. Purchases would be governed by procedures under the Virginia Procurement Act. The bill requires reenactment by the 2000 Session of the General Assembly in order to become effective.
