SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Cover sheets; circuit court clerks. Allows the circuit court clerks of Richmond County, Franklin County, Wise County, and Greene County and the City of Norton to request that a cover sheet be filled out on all real estate documents which provides pertinent information to the clerk for indexing purposes. This same provision was added in 1998 for the clerks of Wise County and the City of Norton through an uncodified act. This bill codifies that act. The pilot projects created by these enactments expire on July 1, 2002. This bill is identical to HB 1834.
