Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 10.1-1101.1 as follows:

§ 10.1-1101.1. Logger training required.

The Department shall promulgate regulations, pursuant to the Administrative Process Act (§ 9-6.14:1 et seq.), that require each logging operation to have at least one person on-site who has successfully completed a master logger's education program approved by the State Forester.
