Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the numerical water quality standard adopted by the State Water Control Board for tributyltin is hereby modified to provide that the standard shall not be effective until the earlier of (i) thirty months from the publication of a plan pursuant to § 62.1-44.19:7 for the receiving waters where such standard may be applied or (ii) thirty months from the publication by the United States Environmental Protection Agency of final ambient water quality criteria for tributyltin.
