CHAPTER 575 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Chapter 37 of Title 54.1 a section numbered 54.1-3708, relating to continuing education for licensed social workers. [S 1004] Approved March 27, 1999

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 37 of Title 54.1 a section numbered 54.1-3708 as follows:

§ 54.1-3708. Continuing education requirements.

The Board shall establish in regulations requirements for the continuing education of licensed social workers.

The Board may approve persons who provide continuing education or accredit continuing education programs in order to accomplish the purposes of this section.
