SUMMARY:

Billing for Medicaid services in public schools. Establishes a joint subcommittee to study the Medicaid Reimbursement Billing program for the public schools. In conducting its study, the joint subcommittee shall review federal and state Medicaid laws regarding services provided eligible students; seek ways to correct or minimize the disparities between the programs; and recommend alternatives, if appropriate, that will facilitate the reimbursement of school divisions for services provided.
