SUMMARY:
Collection of motor fuels taxes. Establishes a joint subcommittee to study whether the Commonwealth should revise its point of collection system for state motor fuels taxes. Currently, motor fuel taxes are remitted by jobbers, dealers, and refiners. Several states have adopted a system requiring the tax to be collected on motor fuel distributed at terminals. Referred by Speaker's letter to the House Committee on Finance to conduct the study.
