SUMMARY:
Hospice regulation. Requests the Board of Health to begin the process of reviewing and revising regulations governing the licensure of hospices. In its review and revision, the Board is requested to reconcile state regulatory license requirements with Medicare certification requirements, when appropriate, and to revise regulations applicable to hospices certified under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act, based on the reconciliation.
