SUMMARY:
Community policing programs. Requires the Department of Criminal Justice to review and evaluate community policing programs in the Commonwealth, and recommend where necessary operating procedures, guidelines, and standards for such programs. This is a recommendation of the Joint Subcommittee Studying the Status and Needs of African-American Males in Virginia.
