SB 414 Attorney-physician communications.

SUMMARY:

Attorney-physician communications. Creates exceptions to the statutory ban on any communication between attorneys and practitioners of the healing arts. The current ban excepts communications made in the course of discovery. The added exceptions are intended to facilitate litigation while maintaining confidentiality.

The bill is recommended by the Boyd-Graves Conference.
