SUMMARY:
Educational institutions. Designates the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation as an institution of higher education and moves its enabling legislation from Title 9 to Title 23. The bill also requires that future appointments made by the Governor to the Board of Trustees be confirmed by the General Assembly as is required for other appointments in the executive branch. The bill clarifies that it does not require the reappointment of the Board of Trustees and that the present Board members may continue to serve until their current terms expire.
