SUMMARY:

Student career planning. Requests the Board of Education to study the feasibility of establishing various methods and tools designed to focus students' attention on future education and career plans. The Board is to consider current Virginia law and regulations governing career planning and guidance services, student career planning tools in other states, linkages between education and business that may promote student career planning, and such other issues as it deems appropriate.
