SUMMARY:

Study; Underage smoking; licensure. This resolution would have established a joint subcommittee to study the need for licensure in order to effectively enforce the federal regulations and state law regarding the purchase and use of tobacco products by minors. However, the resolution was passed by indefinitely in lieu of a letter from the Speaker to the House General Laws Committee to conduct the study.
