SUMMARY:
Written threats communicated to people. Provides that if any person writes or composes or sends any form of electronic communication producing a visual or electronic message, containing a threat to kill or do bodily injury to a person, he shall be guilty of a Class 6 felony. The law formerly only included written communication. Now an e-mail message will be specifically included.
