SUMMARY:
Deadly physical force. Grants the occupant of a dwelling immunity from civil liability or criminal prosecution for any injury or death resulting from the occupant's use of force, including deadly physical force, against a person who has unlawfully entered the dwelling and who the occupant reasonably believes is committing or intends to commit a crime other than the unlawful entry and is likely to use some force against the occupant.
The bill is based upon a Colorado statute.
