SUMMARY:

Child protective services; custody. Provides that a child protective services worker or law-enforcement officer may take a child into custody for up to 72 hours without the prior approval of parents or guardians if evidence of abuse is perishable or subject to deterioration before a hearing can be held and other factors are met.
