SENATE BILL NO. 108 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee on Transportation on February 12, 1998) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Senator Gartlan) A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered § 46.2-749.2:14, relating to special license plates commemorating the 1999 Bicentennial of George Washington.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered § 46.2-749.2:14 as follows:

§ 46.2-749.2:14. Special license plates commemorating the 1999 Bicentennial of George Washington.

On receipt of an application therefor, the Commissioner shall issue to the applicant special license plates commemorating the 1999 Bicentennial of George Washington.

2. That the provisions of this act shall expire on July 1, 2003.
