HOUSE BILL NO. 770 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Transportation on February 5, 1998) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Landes) A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding sections numbered 46.2-746.11 and 46.2-746.12, relating to special license plates; supporters of the American Automobile Association; Tercentenary of the City of Williamsburg.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding sections numbered 46.2-746.11 and 46.2-746.12 as follows:

§ 46.2-746.11. Special license plates; supporters of the American Automobile Association.

On receipt of an application therefor, the Commissioner shall issue special license plates to supporters of the American Automobile Association.

§ 46.2-746.12. Special license plates; Tercentenary of City of Williamsburg.

On receipt of an application therefor, the Commissioner shall issue special license plates commemorating the Tercentenary of the City of Williamsburg.
