Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 15.2-5705 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 15.2.5705. Violation of rules and regulations; damaging or removing park property; penalty.
A. Any violation of any such rule and regulation adopted pursuant to provision 17 of § 15.2-5704 shall constitute a Class 4 misdemeanor.
B. Any person who damages, destroys, removes or carries away any real or personal property, including trees, shrubs, and other vegetative materials or any object of antiquity, belonging to any authority shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
