Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 5 of Title 7.1 a section numbered 7.1-40.11 as follows:

§ 7.1-40.11. Official reptile.

The Eastern Box Turtle is hereby designated the official reptile of the Commonwealth.
