CHAPTER 501 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 46.2-749.6:1.1, relating to special license plates for supporters of the Richmond Braves, the Salem Avalanche, the Norfolk Tides, the Prince William Cannons, the Pulaski Rangers, the Lynchburg Hillcats, the Martinsville Phillies, the Danville Braves, and the Bristol Tigers baseball teams. [S 9] Approved April 15, 1998

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-749.6:1.1 as follows:

§ 46.2-749.6:1.1. Special license plates for supporters of the Richmond Braves, the Salem Avalanche, the Norfolk Tides, the Prince William Cannons, the Pulaski Rangers, the Lynchburg Hillcats, the Martinsville Phillies, the Danville Braves, and the Bristol Tigers baseball teams.

On receipt of an application therefor, the Commissioner shall issue special license plates to supporters of the Richmond Braves, the Salem Avalanche, the Norfolk Tides, the Prince William Cannons, the Pulaski Rangers, the Lynchburg Hillcats, the Martinsville Phillies, the Danville Braves, and the Bristol Tigers baseball teams.
