CHAPTER 402 An Act to amend and reenact § 8.01-8 of the Code of Virginia, relating to suits by minor's next friend. [H 18] Approved April 12, 1998

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 8.01-8 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 8.01-8. How minors may sue.

Any minor entitled to sue may do so by his next friend. Either or both parents may sue on behalf of a minor as his next friend.
