J5. No person shall consume alcoholic beverages in a public place as defined in § 4.1-100 while carrying a concealed handgun. A person who violates this subsection shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor, and upon such conviction that court shall revoke the person's permit for a concealed handgun and promptly notify the issuing circuit court.
