SUMMARY:

Study; compilation of computer indices. Requests that the State Librarian and the State Archivist, in cooperation with universities, the Council on Information Management, the Department of Information Technology, and the Virginia Press Association, study the development of guidelines for the compilation of indices of state agency databases as required by the Freedom of Information Act.
