SUMMARY:

Coal as energy in state facilities. Expresses the sense of the General Assembly that coal, coalbed methane, natural gas, or other Virginia-produced or Virginia-refined energy stocks should be considered for use in existing state facilities, and that, during the renovation or construction of state facilities, coal or gas should be given primary consideration for generating heat, steam, or air conditioning.
