SUMMARY:
Study; occupational disease presumption in the Workers' Compensation Act. Establishes a 13-member joint subcommittee to examine the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act's occupational disease presumption under § 65.2-402 affecting firefighters and certain groups of law-enforcement officers. The subject matter of this resolution was referred by letter from the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Rules to the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor, requesting that a study be conducted.
