SUMMARY:
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); restoration of right to vote for felons. Authorizes the General Assembly to provide by law for the restoration of voting rights for felons. With this authority, the General Assembly would have a range of options and, for example, could provide by law for the restoration of the right to vote after completion of sentence and satisfaction of other stated statutory requirements.
