SUMMARY:

Joint trials. Requires joint trials of defendants charged with conspiracy or other contemporaneous or related acts constituting a crime unless to do so would prejudice a defendant. The bill also corresponds the provisions governing striking of jurors to eliminate an out-dated reference to a defendant's "election" to be tried jointly.
