SUMMARY:
Industrial development authorities. Allows industrial development authorities created by localities without housing authorities to issue tax-exempt bonds to finance housing projects owned and operated by for-profit enterprises. Currently, only taxable bonds may be issued to finance single or multi-family residences operated by commercial enterprises. This bill is identical to HB 2180.
