SUMMARY:
Federally funded or reimbursed state employees. Provides that employees of the Commonwealth whose positions are fully funded or reimbursed by or on behalf of the federal government shall not be counted towards any maximum employment levels created by the Governor or the Department of Personnel and Training pursuant to the performance of their duties. Further, such positions shall be (i) accounted for separately from state employee positions which are funded or reimbursed by the Commonwealth through its general funds and (ii) continued in this category so long as the federal government fully funds or reimburses the Commonwealth for the total cost of the state position.
