SUMMARY:
Juvenile detention commissions. Authorizes Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Commission serving parts of the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Judicial Districts, the James River Juvenile Detention Commission serving parts of the Eleventh, Fourteenth and Sixteenth Judicial Districts and the W.W. Moore Juvenile Detention Commission serving portions of the Tenth, Twenty-first and Twenty-second Judicial Districts to borrow money and issue revenue bonds under § 16.1-318. The same power was granted in 1993 to the Middle Peninsula Juvenile Detention Commission. The bill is effective upon passage.
