SUMMARY:
Permissible venue. Allows actions against corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies to be brought where the entity has its principal offices or place of business or where its chief officer resides. Currently an action against a corporation should be brought where its chief officer resides and an action against another commercial entity may be brought in any jurisdiction in which it "regularly conducts affairs or business activities."
