SUMMARY:

Charitable gaming; raffles. Allows a qualified organization to sell raffle tickets for a raffle drawing which will be conducted outside the Commonwealth, provided that the raffle is conducted in accordance with Commission regulations and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the raffle drawing will be held. The bill also requires the Virginia Charitable Gaming Commission to adopt regulations which will prescribe the conditions under which this type of raffle may be conducted.
