SUMMARY:

Public Procurement Act; design-build and construction management contracts. Authorizes the County of Tazewell to enter into a contract for the construction of a jail, courthouse, and administrative facility on a fixed priced or not-to-exceed price design-build basis or construction management basis. The bill contains an emergency clause and its provisions will expire on July 1, 1997.
