SUMMARY:

Uniform Statewide Building Code; certain asbestos inspections. Removes an obsolete provision requiring a licensed RFS contractor to conduct asbestos inspections of buildings being renovated or demolished. In 1996, RFS contractors were no longer required to be licensed to install, remove, or encapsulate nonfriable asbestos-containing roofing, flooring, or siding materials.
