SUMMARY:
Certificate of transplant surgeon; evidence. Allows, in evidence in a criminal prosecution, the use of a certificate of a transplant surgeon who removed organs from the crime victim to establish that such organs were not the cause or a contributing factor to the victim's death. Prior to use of the certificate in evidence, the certificate must be made available to the defendant's counsel. The defendant's right to call the surgeon as a witness is specifically preserved.
