SUMMARY:
Sales and use tax exemption; nonprofit community and service organizations. Grants a sales and use tax exemption for purchases by any nonprofit organization operated for the exclusive purpose of operating a long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment program, featuring drug and family counseling, 12-step programs, academic education and religious development, for young men ages 13 through 17. Mid-Atlantic Teen Challenge would be a beneficiary of this exemption.
