SUMMARY:

Crimes; burglary with intent to commit arson. Makes it a crime to break and enter a church or church property with the intent to commit a violent felony of murder, rape or robbery and expands the list of violent felonies to include arson. The punishment for this crime would be imprisonment from 5 to 20 years and a maximum fine of $100,000 or by imprisonment from 20 years to life and a maximum fine of $100,000 if the burglar was armed with a deadly weapon when he broke in.
