SB 707 Bonds of certain state educational institutions.

Introduced by: John H. Chichester | all patrons    ...    notes | add to my profiles

SUMMARY:

Bonds of certain state educational institutions. Eliminates language that appears to require that a state educational institution pay into the state treasury moneys available for the use of the institution, including appropriated funds, that the institution pledges to the payment of its bonds. Currently, any such funds pledged to the payment of an institution's bonds must be paid into the state treasury. The requirement that fees, rents, or charges collected by the institution and pledged to the payment of its bonds must be paid into the treasury will not apply to moneys that are exempt from deposit into the state treasury.
