SUMMARY:

Claims; relief for S. Galeski Optical Company. Provides $753,000 in relief for Galeski which suffered a loss as a result of the early cancellation of a contract between the Commonwealth and Trigon. Trigon was providing administrative services to Galeski while Galeski was providing actual medical services to state and municipal employees. Galeski made capital expenditures and hired additional employees to meet the Commonwealth's requirements for optical coverage as part of its employee benefit package and then suffered large losses as a result of the Commonwealth's early termination of the contractual arrangement.
