SUMMARY:

Public Procurement Act; acceptance of bids by the Department of Transportation. Authorizes VDOT to accept bid submissions for highway construction and maintenance contracts at locations other than its central office and allows VDOT to make public all supplemental information submitted with the bid, voluntarily supplied by the bidder, before the public opening and announcement of all sealed bids.
