SUMMARY:
Local E-911 system tax. Allows proceeds from a local emergency telephone system tax to be used to pay the salary of an E-911 program's director or coordinator in a county with a population of at least 45,000 but no more than 47,000. Currently, all or a portion of the salaries of only dispatchers or call-takers are recoverable from this tax.
